"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that you have." -1 Peter 3:15

Grace Lutheran Sunday School
When Jesus told the 11 to go make disciples of all nations and baptize them, he also gave instructions to teach those disciples to observe all that he commanded. At San Diego Grace Lutheran, we believe you are never too old to learn, and Sunday School is part of your Christian education. It prepares you to give answers for your faith and to recognize false doctrine. It is also an occasion for greater fellowship.

Starting September 10, 2023 - 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Was the Reformation worth all the trouble? In this study, Pr. Thomas will lay out the differences that have, and continue, to divide the Lutheran and Roman Catholic traditions. Topics will include: The Nature of Authority (Sola Scriptura), Sacred Tradition, the Papacy, Justification by Faith (Sola Fide), the Church, The Sacraments, Mary and the saints, and purgatory.

Class meets for Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions in the St. Mark's classroom from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
